The shared-use route from Lincoln ends here, but there are lovely virtually traffic-free lanes all the way north to the outskirts of Brigg.
This sign (and thousands of others across Britain) should not read Cyclists Dismount. It should read Cyclists Rejoin Carriageway (and continue as normal road users).
NCN route 1 crosses the A46 here, without any lights or other safety measures.
